Cleaning instructions

Materials Needed

Ceramic container with wax residue
Hot water
Dish soap
Soft sponge or brush
Plastic spatula or knife (optional, for removing large wax remnants)

Steps

Allow it to cool:
Wait until the ceramic container has completely cooled down to avoid burning yourself.

Removing wax residue:
If there are large wax remnants left in the container, you can try to gently loosen them with a plastic spatula or a knife. Be careful not to damage the ceramic. Exercise caution, as ceramics can be fragile.

Soaking:
Fill the ceramic container with hot water (not boiling) and let it soak for a while to soften the remaining wax.

Removing the remaining wax:
After the wax has softened, use a soft sponge or brush to detach the wax residue from the ceramic container. You can also add some dish soap to remove stubborn residues. Rinse the container several times during this process to ensure all wax residues are removed.

Thorough rinsing:
Rinse the ceramic container multiple times with clear water to ensure all soap and wax residues are removed.

Drying:
Allow the cleaned ceramic container to dry thoroughly before using it for other purposes.

Instruction manual

Step 1: Preparation
Ensure that the scented candle is placed on a fire-resistant surface that is stable and level.
Keep the candle out of the reach of children and pets.
Remove any packaging or labels from the candle before lighting it.

Step 2: Lighting the Candle
Light the candle using a match or a lighter.
Do not leave the candle unattended, and keep it away from flammable materials.

Step 3: Burn Time and Care
During the first burn, allow the candle to burn until the top layer of wax has melted evenly to prevent tunneling.
Avoid drafts as they can shorten the candle's burn time.

Step 4: Extinguishing the Candle
Use a candle snuffer or a candle lid to extinguish the candle rather than blowing it out to minimize smoke and soot formation.
Ensure the wick is straight and centered after extinguishing the candle.

Step 5: Storage and Maintenance
Keep the candle away from direct sunlight and heat sources to prevent warping or wax melting.
Store the candle in a cool, dry area.

Important notes

Ceramic is typically sturdy but still more delicate than glass, so it's important to be careful when removing wax residues. After cleaning, you can reuse the ceramic container for various purposes, whether as decoration, storage, or for other creative uses.

Since our products are handmade individual pieces, they may vary slightly in their shape and appearance.

Our candles are filled with high-quality natural wax, which may result in slight discoloration.
