Precise interventions in the building structure are aimed at maximizing the quality and atmosphere of the interior spaces. Installations within the context of the sloping roof were strategically implemented to not only generate additional storage space but also to expand the sense of space through the clever use of mirrored surfaces and to induce novel visual connections within the living space. The deliberate selection of understated and clear materials, as well as color nuances in the living areas, is conceived as a framework for an adaptive interior. Noteworthy are the dressing room and the bathroom, which, through a deliberate departure from the clear material guidelines, create a necessary tension with the main living areas.

A distinctive atelier house on Usedom for a sculptor features a narrow bungalow design. The west-facing living and dining area, illuminated by strategically placed windows, establishes a seamless connection to the garden. Another structure along the eastern orientation facilitates stone deliveries for the sculptor. The connection is achieved through a simple flat-roofed concrete structure with elongated arches as facade elements. This incorporates bedrooms, wet areas, guest rooms, storage, and utility spaces. The intensive rooftop greenery contributes to cooling the building.
